About me

Hello there!

At the age of 11 I knew I wanted to be a photographer. I started out taking photos on my mom's *fancy* iPhone 3GS and then moved up to a Kodak point and shoot practicing on the scenery around me and of course, our family dog.

Since then I've taken classes, read books, watched numerous YouTube videos, and shot many, many experimental in-home studio shoots to quench my thirst for knowledge on this particular subject (although I'm continuing to learn new things even now). In high school I took 2 year-long classes including AP Photography and scored a 4/5 on the end of year test, won competitions and even had my work featured at the airport.

By mid 2019 I decided it was time to finally put myself out there a little more and started an Instagram page to showcase my growing portfolio and officially decided a year later that I would specialize in Family portraits- including seniors and family pets.

I want to help others capture the now (in all it's messy glory) to cherish later. Life is special and precious and deserves to be preserved in a way that can be enjoyed for years (and generations) to come! One of my favorite things to do at a friend's or family member's house is to look at all the photos on the fridge or wall because you can see their history and how they came to be as they are today. I want to help others tell their stories too.

In my spare time I enjoy sunset chasing, hiking, listening to one of my indie, pop, or country Spotify playlists, and being a dog mom to my Australian shepherd- Zeus. My favorite color is blue, I love the spring time sunshine and Mexican or Chinese food.
